Today, the first weekend of the new year, rallies for and against impeachment will be held side by side in downtown Seoul.

Yes, today's pro-impeachment rallies will be held side by side in Gwanghwamun and Hannam-dong.

First of all, at 2 p.m., a candlelight culture festival will be held at Exit 1 of Anguk Station near the Constitutional Court to urge the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol by candlelight action,
At 4 p.m. on
, a citizen's march rally will be held in Gwanghwamun's Dongpagak area under the auspices of Yoon Seok-yeol's immediate retreat and emergency action for social reform.

Candlelight Cultural Festival participants will start marching toward Gwanghwamun at around 3:20 p.m. and join the civic march rally, which will begin at 5:30 p.m.

It starts from Dongsopjagak, passes through Jonggak Station, Euljiro, and marches in front of the Bank of Korea, and a one-way street is used.

In front of Donghwa Duty Free Shop, about 1km away from Donghwagak Pavilion, a rally against impeachment will be held around the National Movement Headquarters of the Republic of Korea from 1 p.m.

The pros and cons rally will continue near the presidential residence in Hannam-dong.

A vigil to urge the arrest of the Yoon Suk Yeol, hosted by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, has been held since yesterday afternoon near Hannam Elementary School.

The anti-impeachment rally, hosted by the Grand National Party, will resume at exit 2 of Hangangjin Station from 1 p.m.

The police deploy more than 160 traffic police officers to reduce civil inconvenience and operate variable lanes for smooth vehicle passage.
