In Canada, there are Korean compatriots who silently practice sharing and convey hope without expecting a price.

This compatriot, an architect, has visited his compatriots who do not have enough life to fix their homes and encourage donations instead of labor costs, and has been doing good deeds for 13 years.

Reporter Jung Young-ah met the main character who is giving warm warmth to the Korean community.

A residential area in Toronto, Canada late at night.

There is a person who is busy to help someone even in the deep darkness.

The old floor, which was infused with drafts and dust through a small gap, was neatly arranged through his touch.

The landlord expresses his sincere gratitude, saying that he loves the house that has been refurbished.

[Yoo Ji-min / Korean compatriot living in Canada: Since the technician is doing it, the repair ends very quickly and I'm able to do it with a good intention, so I'm happy that the end of the year will be fuller and warmer.]

Yoo Jae-myung, an architect in Canada, fixed the house cleanly.

Jae-myung has already been visiting Korean families in financial difficulties for 13 years and taking care of the house for free.

There is a warm heart for our compatriots throughout the Korean family he helped.

What is the driving force behind the service for over a decade?

[Yoo Jae Myung / Architect: There are people who helped me when I was in trouble, there are people who supported me a lot. If I have a little time, I can help more people and help others through him, so I started it and I'm doing this until today]

Jae-myung doesn't want a monetary reward.

Instead, I leave one special request.

It encourages families who have been repaired to donate a small amount to the Korean Women's Association of Canada to help another family.

I hope that my volunteer work will lead to more sharing and help.

The Korean Women's Association of Canada, which provides welfare and support for various classes in the Korean community, including women, the elderly, the disabled, and international students.

Yoo Jae-myung said he sympathized greatly with the passion for helping our compatriots by watching the group's dedicated efforts.

This gave him great confidence in starting his volunteer work.

[Yoo Jae-myung / Architect: If you look away a little bit and look around, the small part you have can be very big on other people. I hope you show a lot of interest.]

Yoo Jae-myung is trying to make a big change by gathering small hands.

His warm heart conveys good influence and hope in the Korean community.
