A series of 12 cars on the Central Inland Expressway...No casualties.

Around 7:30 a.m. today (6th), 12 cars collided one after another in the direction of Changwon on the Jungbu Inland Expressway in Sabeolguk-myeon, Sangju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and a SUV caught fire.

No one was injured, but traffic in the area was severely congested in the process of handling the accident.

Police believe a car slipped on the icy road and caused a series of crashes, and are investigating the exact circumstances.
