The ruling and opposition parties failed to narrow their differences over the schedule of the plenary session to re-vote the so-called "Both Special Prosecutors Act," including the General Special Prosecutors' Act on Insurrection and the Special Prosecutors' Act on First Lady Kim Gun-hee.
Park Hyung-soo, the People's Power, and Park Sung-joon, the deputy floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, met at the National Assembly to discuss the schedule of the extraordinary National Assembly in January and whether to pass the bill, but failed to reach an agreement.
The Democratic Party proposed to re-vote six issues, including the Grain Act, and the Twin Special Prosecutors Act at the plenary session tomorrow (7th), and hold pending questions on the 8th and 9th regarding the aviation disaster.
On the other hand, the People's Power failed to reach a point of contact as it re-voted eight bills at the plenary session on the 9th and confronted them to replace pending aviation disasters with questions from the government of the extraordinary National Assembly in February.
