The high-ranking government official's crime investigation office decided to entrust the police with the execution of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol, but reversed it.After one failure to secure a new presidential recruit

Yoon, critics say that it has only caused another controversy.

On the morning of the expiration of the arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol,
The Defense Acquisition Program Administration suddenly announced that it had sent an official letter to the police stating that it was entrusted with the authority to execute the warrant.

[Dongwoon Oh / Senior Civil Servant Crime Investigation Director: (Why did you hand it over to the warrant execution police?)…. (Didn't you actually give up the case?).]

Lee Jae-seung, deputy chief of the Airborne Division, explained that the police considered the need to unify the command system for on-site arrests and other reasons.

He added that he does not hand over the investigation rights to the police, but that if President Yoon is arrested, the prosecutor's office of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit plans to investigate.

However, in the "notification" made unilaterally without agreement, the police virtually refused to execute it alone, saying that the prosecutor of the Airborne Division had no authority to direct the police. The Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit eventually reversed its position in seven hours after even the police, who had been cooperating with the investigation apart from President

Yoon's opposition.

He said he agreed with the police in that there should be no small controversy in the investigation of the serious case,
He said he would do his best to execute arrest warrants under the
Cooperation Investigation Headquarters system. In the course of the

'discretionary controversy', the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit admitted that it lacked strategy and preparation, saying it did not expect to prevent the execution of warrants issued by the court to this extent.

The controversy ended in just one day, but it seems hard to avoid criticism that a series of false steps after the transfer have caused confusion in the investigation.
