The morning temperature in Seoul was minus 5.7 degrees, which was 8 degrees lower than yesterday.

The wind chill dropped to around minus 10 degrees Celsius.

Even in the middle of the day, the cold wind blows and the freezing cold is expected to continue.

Please wear warm clothes and pay attention to warmth.

A cold wave warning was issued in northern Gyeonggi Province and inland Gangwon Province, and this morning, the cold spell was below minus 10 degrees Celsius.

Even in the middle of the day, the temperature will not rise significantly, and most of them will remain below zero.

Daytime temperatures in Seoul are expected to be 1 degree, Cheongju 2 degree, and Jeonju 3 degree today.

Snow is falling mainly on the west coast of Honam and Jeju Island in the extreme cold.

This snow cloud will gradually expand to Chungnam, other Honam, southwestern Gyeonggi Province, and western Gyeongsangnam-do.

By the day after tomorrow, there will be heavy snow in many places in Jeollabuk-do, up to 40cm in the mountains of Jeju, up to 30cm in the mountains of Jeju, and up to 20cm in Chungnam and Jeonnam.

In particular, it is expected to be strong and concentrated around 3cm per hour, so please prepare thoroughly to avoid damage to facilities.

The cold will get worse in the future.

The day after tomorrow, Thursday, the strongest cold wave will come this winter, with temperatures plunging to minus 12 degrees Celsius in the morning in Seoul.

As a result, there is a possibility that the first "Hanpa Special Report" will be issued in Seoul.

Amid a long-term "dry warning" on the east coast, where there is no clear news of snow rain, the wind will be strong across the country today.
