6.8-magnitude earthquake in Tibet Autonomous Region of China
A strong earthquake struck the Xizang Tibet Autonomous Region, which borders China and Nepal.

According to the China Earthquake Zone, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake occurred at 9:05 a.m. local time today in L'Cazesi Dingre County (28.50 degrees north latitude, 87.45 degrees east longitude) in the Sizang Autonomous Region.

The depth of the epicenter is 10km, and no specific damage has been reported yet.

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) announced a 7.1 magnitude earthquake in China, 93 kilometers northeast of the Nepalese mountainous region of Lobuche.

Robuce has a population of about 8,700.
