Chung Mong-gyu, the current president of the Korea Football Association, has issued a statement on the court's decision to cite the provisional injunction against the election of the president of the Korea Football Association.

In a statement, Chairman Chung respected the court's decision to cite the provisional injunction, and asked the Election Commission to supplement procedural defects and hold elections as soon as possible.

In the meantime, he vowed to follow the rules and remain committed to the election in accordance with the way and schedule decided by the Election Commission in the future.

Earlier, the Seoul Central District Court decided to cite Huh Jung-moo's application for an injunction against the Korea Football Association's presidential election ban against the Korea Football Association.
