Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission recommends 'designating non-smoking areas' for taxi rides

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission recommended the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and each local government to improve the designation of taxi stands as non-smoking areas.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission also called for the establishment of criteria for selecting target sites and facility standards when installing taxi stands, and for regular inspection of taxi stands.

In addition, it was suggested to provide a waiting space for taxis to park and stop in order to prevent traffic congestion and contact accidents caused by taxi rides.
