Based on the popular web novel of the same name, "The Phone You Called Now" is a story about Hong Hee-joo (Chae Soo-bin), a sign language interpreter who does not open her mouth, pretending to be a kidnapper and threatening her husband Baek Sa-eon (Yu Yeon-seok). It attracted attention from many viewers for advocating a unique genre called "romance-reeler" that combines romance and thriller.

On the 8th, YTN held an interview with Chae Soo-bin, who succeeded in realizing the original character in three dimensions with stable acting skills through "The Phone You Called Now," and shared various stories related to the work.

Through this work, Chae Soo-bin won the Best Couple Award with Yoo Yeon-seok at the 2024 MBC Acting Awards, as well as the Women's Outstanding Performance Award in the Miniseries category.
