Lee Jae-myung said, "Must overcome wrong regionalism..."We need to prepare for the national party."

Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said that the Democratic Party of Korea should prepare itself so that it can be trusted and chosen evenly by the people as a national party.

At the launch ceremony of the "National Party Promotion Special Committee" held at the National Assembly, Lee said, "No matter how bad you do, you must overcome this false regionalism that can make you a member of the National Assembly again."

He then argued that the overwhelming majority of lawmakers of the People's Power are taking the lead in the "second civil war" because they can become lawmakers again even if they engage in anti-democratic, anti-state, and anti-historical acts.

Representative Lee stressed that the country's future will be provided only when a normal democratic system in which people make rational choices through competition works, and that he will provide full support to vulnerable areas of the Democratic Party.
