Two cows on the truck heading to the slaughterhouse escaped and were handed over to their owners within four hours.
The Pyeongtaek Police Station and the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters said they received a 119 report that cows were on the road in Jangdang-dong, Pyeongtaek, at around 9:20 a.m. today (9th).
Police and fire authorities later captured a cow on the eight-lane Gyeonggi-do road and found another cow in a nearby rice field.
Then, at around 1:20 p.m., the cows were handed over to the owner within four hours of reporting.
