"It smells like cigarettes." Sentence suspended in their 50s for assaulting the upper house after seeing a note.

A man in his 50s, who is suspected of visiting his upper house and assaulting a teenage boy after seeing a note saying, "I smell like cigarettes," was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence.

The Incheon District Court sentenced A, a man in his 50s, to one year in prison and three years of probation today (9th) on charges of assault.

The court explained that A committed the crime during the probation period and did not receive the victim's forgiveness, but considered that A admitted the crime.

Earlier on May 12 last year, A was accused of assaulting a high school student B when a note saying "I smell like cigarettes" was posted on the front door of his house in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.
