Police order all metropolitan police detectives to 'execute 2nd warrant'
The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters has ordered detectives from the Metropolitan Police Agency in the Seoul metropolitan area to mobilize the second arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol.

According to the YTN report, the National Police Agency sent an official document titled "Order to mobilize investigators belonging to the Seoul metropolitan area's security and wide-area investigation functions" to four police offices in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi Province, northern Gyeonggi Province, and Incheon yesterday (8th).

The purpose is to mobilize experienced detectives in charge of violent crime investigations to execute the second arrest warrant for President Yoon, asking for cooperation because investigators such as security and criminal mobilization can be mobilized.

The specific mobilization method, schedule, and size have not been determined, but the number of personnel under the four metropolitan investigation teams alone exceeds 900, and the number of existing special teams in charge of the first execution attempt is well over 1,000.

It is also said that the National Assembly is also considering significantly increasing the number of police task force personnel from the existing 2,700 to maintain order around the government office during the second execution of the warrant.
