Singer JENNIE decorated the cover of Billboard magazine, an American music media outlet.
On the 9th (local time), the U.S. Billboard published an article titled "Fight with myself: Jenny, in-depth consideration of making a solo album" on its official website.
Billboard highlighted Jenny and introduced her, "The whole world knows Jenny from Blackpink, but Jenny's upcoming (solo) debut album allows us to get to know and show her true self."
Jenny said: "I started listing things I wanted in my life and figuring out exactly what the next step was or prioritizing them. As soon as I did that, I thought, 'You haven't achieved your dream of releasing a solo album yet.' By achieving that goal, I wanted to be satisfied with myself," he said, explaining the process of establishing ODATELIER and the process of signing a partnership with Columbia Records.
"I want to complete myself as Jenny Ruby Jane as a full-fledged person," Jenny said, raising expectations, "You can definitely see what I mean when the album comes out, but the overall sound made me like all the songs because I play in different genres and elements: rapping here, singing here, doing harmonies here, talking here."
