The prosecution, which investigated Kim Gun-hee's allegations of accepting luxury bags, disposed of all officials involved in the case, including the president's couple and Pastor Choi Jae-young.

Ten months after the controversy erupted over the alleged receipt of luxury bags by First Lady Kim Gun-hee, it was concluded with "not prosecuting all involved."
First, the prosecution decided that Kim could not be charged with violating the anti-graft law.
The anti-graft law prohibits public officials' spouses from receiving money and goods related to their duties, but there are no punishment regulations.
In addition, he believed that President Yoon did not violate his duty to report, saying that the gift was only for maintaining friendly relations and had nothing to do with the president's duties.All charges of bribery and destruction of evidence received by President
Yoon and his wife have been cleared of charges.
The prosecution also concluded without charge of Pastor Choi Jae-young's alleged violation of the anti-graft law, saying he had no job relevance.
The charges of invading houses or obstructing the execution of public affairs were also not established on the grounds that they met with Kim by coordinating the schedule in advance and the inspection was insufficient.
The two previously held investigation deliberation committees suggested that Mrs. Kim should not be prosecuted and Pastor Choi should be prosecuted.
The prosecution, which was struggling with the mixed depth judgment over the same case, eventually concluded that "all involved were not prosecuted" as previously judged.
"There was no other consideration," the prosecution said, apparently conscious of the controversy that would follow.
