KOSPI at 2,520 on Foreigners and Institutional Sales...KOSDAQ Down

The KOSPI retreated back to the 2,520 level amid combined net selling by foreigners and institutions.

In the stock market, the KOSPI closed 0.55 percent lower at 2,520.36.

Foreigners and institutions pulled down the index by selling a net 272.7 billion won, while individuals alone bought a net 187.2 billion won.

Samsung Electronics rose 0.69% and SK Hynix rose 0.06% due to the rise of the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index in the New York Stock Exchange early this morning.

On the KOSDAQ market, the KOSDAQ index also closed 0.53% lower at 693.15.
