The actual artificial intelligence (AI) digital textbook, which will be introduced from the first semester of next year, has been released to the media for the first time.

Behind the advantages of being able to interact with students and learn, there are also concerns about the possibility of AI chatbot errors.

The issuer said it had improved, but there was a limit to confirmation.

It is one of the English Artificial Intelligence (AI) textbooks for the first year of middle school.

As you read along the sentence, the data that evaluated word accuracy and intonation are displayed immediately.

Teacher devices reveal assignment scores performed by students.

You can see at a glance which parts of the class as well as individuals are vulnerable.

Two of the first AI textbooks to be introduced in the first semester of next year were released to the media for the first time.

[Kwon Ju-yeon / AI textbook A Publisher: 'The percentage of correct answers for these participatory content is the lowest, so it's better to do it again,' and guides students who need attention and who have not followed well.]

Teachers and students did not conduct the class themselves, so there was a limit to discovering the pros and cons.

The Ministry of Education and publishers emphasized that most of the problems raised so far, such as the possibility of incorrect AI chatbot answers and audio interference between devices, have been improved.

However, there were no cool answers to criticism such as concerns about the increase in teachers' work due to the operation of AI textbooks or compatibility with book textbooks.

[Ko Young-jong / Head of the Ministry of Education's Responsible Education Policy Office: If we don't introduce even this, we think it will be difficult to bring back the public's trust in public education, which continues to lag behind in private education….]

The Ministry of Education announced that it will put 76 AI textbooks on the website of the Korea Textbook Research Foundation so that teachers can handle themselves.

In addition, we plan to demonstrate the actual teacher-student class at the educational innovation fair held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 13th to the 15th so that anyone can see it.
