A second impeachment motion was reported to the National Assembly plenary session to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol for responsibility for causing the emergency martial law.
It has been six days since the first impeachment bill was scrapped due to the absence of the People's Power lawmakers.

The second impeachment was 44 pages long, up more than 50% from the first.
The main charge of rebellion against President Yoon was suggested, and it included the occupation of the Central Election Commission by martial law forces and attempts to arrest major politicians, including lawmakers.
Political content such as biased diplomatic controversy and abuse of veto power, which were pointed out as inappropriate reasons for impeachment in the previous impeachment, were omitted.

The plenary session of the National Assembly to vote on the impeachment bill has been confirmed at 4 p.m. tomorrow.
Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said it will be a "people's victory day" and appealed for members of the People's Power to join the impeachment motion.

The opposition party plans to hold a third vote next Saturday if the impeachment bill is scrapped or rejected again this time.
If passed, it is expected that an impeachment committee will be formed immediately to prepare for the Constitutional Court hearing.
