The names of people and corporations who have evaded taxes and failed to pay taxes by reporting imported fishing products cheaply or falsely reporting that they were extracted from stems, not tobacco leaves, when nicotine solutions were brought in.
The Korea Customs Service released a list of 224 delinquents on the Korea Customs Service's website who have not paid more than 200 million won in tariffs or domestic taxes for more than a year.
Their total arrears amounted to 1.26 trillion won, down four from last year, but the total arrears increased by 9.5 billion won.
When the tax rate was 18% on the import of fishing goods, there were cases of arrears of 1.5 billion won after reporting it at a low price, or false reports of nicotine extracted from stems of individual consumption taxes while importing e-cigarette nicotine solutions from China.
