Last year, the cities, counties, and districts with the highest average comprehensive income per capita were Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
According to the National Tax Service's national tax statistics, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, had the highest average comprehensive income per capita at 130 million won among 229 cities, counties, and districts last year.
It was followed by 117 million won in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, 109 million won in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and 64 million won in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do.
Last year, the number of people reporting comprehensive income tax attributable to the company was 11.48 million, up 11.7% from a year ago.
The total income tax amount was 386 trillion won and the determined tax amount was 52 trillion won, up 14.2% and 8.3%, respectively.
The total income of the top 1% was 81 trillion won, accounting for 21.1% of the total.
Among the total income tax filers, 2.84 million tax-free people with zero determined tax amount accounted for 24.7% of the total.
