Today (20th), an interview with Kim Hee-won, the director of the Disney+ original series "Light Shop," was held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Based on Kang Pul's webtoon of the same name, "The Lighting Shop" is a drama about people who stand at the boundary between life and death who find the only lighting shop at the end of a dark alley.
It is also actor Kim Hee-won's first series production and starred Joo Ji-hoon, Park Bo-young, Bae Seong-woo, Um Tae-gu, Lee Jung-eun, Kim Min-ha, Park Hyuk-kwon, Kim Dae-myung and Kim Seol-hyun.
In the interview, Kim Hee-won said about the rumor of dating Park Bo-young in 2020, "At that time, I got the flu and was sick to death, but I got so many calls while I was sleeping that I didn't answer at first."
He continued, "I'm embarrassed. Later, I got 80 phone calls. Later, Boyoung called me and asked, "What do you do?" So I just said 'no'. But soon, the manager will have to make an official statement. So I asked back, 'What official position?' to laughter.
After that, when asked if he had become awkward with Park Bo-young, he said, "It was just nothing. I thought, "So what do you want me to do?" I didn't feel much with Bo-young either," he said.
