Chu's "Strawberry Rush" is Forbes' most underrated K-pop last year.

Singer Chew has been spotlighted by Forbes, an American business magazine, since the new year.

Forbes referred to Chu's "Strawberry Rush" as "the most underrated K-pop song of 2024" in an article published on its official website on the 5th (local time).

Forbes said, "It's a song with a lively melody, exciting tempo, and imaginative lyrics," adding, "It's exciting, magnificent, and keeps ringing in my ears, giving people the energy they need to prepare for the new year." In particular, he gave a high score on the music video as "very creative."

The title track of Chu's second mini album, "Strawberry Rush," released in June last year, is a song that expresses Chew, a quirky hero girl struggling to win a trophy, with sound like running on a rail.

Although it entered the domestic music charts with rave reviews from the Korean media at the time of its release, Forbes stressed that the song has not yet been sufficiently recognized by the public and gave it the title of "the most underrated K-pop song of 2024.

After her "Strawberry Rush" activities, Chu continued to work in various fields such as advertising, OST, and drama, establishing a solid position as a solo artist. Channel A's "Steel Corps W" showed his sincere empathy as an MC, and he will be cast as the main character Kang Min-joo in the drama "My Girlfriend is a Boy."
