Lee Jae-myung said, "We need to set up an extra budget quickly to revive the economy."

Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said, "As a temporary measure to revive our deteriorating economy, we need to quickly draw up a supplementary budget."

Lee said at the Supreme Council, "Businessmen are complaining that the foundation of the country's economy is collapsing, not just a recession."

He then ordered the government to quickly switch to expansionary finances, saying that the current government's fiscal stance did not play a role in the recession, but rather worsened the economy.

Separately, Lee said the risk of respiratory infectious diseases has recently increased at a time when the medical crisis continues, adding that the Democratic Party will also join forces to examine fundamental measures for the medical crisis.
