A driver in his 50s was killed in a series of lorry accidents on the Jungbu Expressway last night.

Vehicles and apartment fires continued throughout the country, including Incheon and Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province.

Around 3:30 a.m. today, a fire broke out in a greenhouse that stores nets near Sorae Port in Incheon.

The fire once spread so wide that it could be seen in apartment complexes several kilometers away.


Yesterday evening, a Porsche car driving along the Sorae Bridge in Incheon caught fire.

The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire following a driver's report of a fire on the engine side.

In Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, the Ioniq 5 electric car caught fire and was extinguished in two and a half hours.

Police believe the fire started when an iron weight that fell from a ladder car earlier hit the lower battery of the vehicle.

A fire truck stands inside the apartment complex, and the residents come out and watch with concern.

A fire broke out in a household on the first floor of an apartment building in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, around midnight this morning.

Fortunately, no one was injured as 15 people, including the household on fire and nearby residents, were evacuated urgently.

Around the same time, in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, a chicken restaurant on the first floor of a two-story building caught fire and was extinguished in 20 minutes.

No one was seriously injured, but one nearby resident inhaled smoke and received emergency measures at the scene.
