Part of the donated tombstone is inscribed with the name of the tombstone, and the word "Hong Beom-do Tomb of the Famous Joseon Partisan" is written along with the date of birth and separation.

The tombstone was made in the mid-1950s and used until General Hong's graveyard was renovated in the 1980s, and Kim took over and stored it afterwards, and Kim is said to have decided to donate the tombstone in the wake of the recent controversy over the relocation of General Hong's bust in Korea.

Chairman Woo, who served as the second chairman of the General Hong Beom-do Commemoration Association, plans to re-donate the tombstone to the association to find a way to utilize it.
