Russia has blamed South Korea, bolstering North Korea's claim that "South Korean drones have invaded over Pyongyang."

"It is an infringement of sovereignty and interference in domestic affairs against North Korea."

The statement was issued by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mariya Zakharova.

The statement begins with "recent tensions on the Korean Peninsula are increasing recently," saying there have been reports from North Korea that South Korean drones have distributed leaflets on North Korean territory.

"This is a grave violation of North Korean sovereignty and an act of destroying the legitimate state and political system of an independent state and depriving it of its right to develop independently," Zakharova said.

"South Korea should take North Korea's warnings very seriously and stop escalating tensions that could worsen the situation on the Korean Peninsula and lead to actual armed accidents," he said.

In addition, he stressed that "Russia will continue to play a constructive role in preventing the deepening of the crisis on the Korean Peninsula based on the comprehensive strategic partnership treaty signed with North Korea."

Just in time, Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted a bill to the House of Representatives on ratification of the treaty signed by Russia and North Korea in June.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused North Korea of supporting not only weapons but manpower as Russia's alliance with North Korea has been further strengthened.

North Korea's Foreign Ministry claimed in a critical statement on the 11th that South Korea has infiltrated drones into Pyongyang three times and distributed leaflets to the North since the 3rd.

He threatened, "We will prepare all the use of aggression and give a stern warning with an ultimatum."

Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun responded, "We cannot confirm whether the North Korean claim is true or not."
