President Yoon "Hopefully Make Diplomatic Efforts to Stop Illegal Cooperation in Central Asia, Russia"

President Yoon Suk Yeol asked Central Asian countries, which have maintained communication channels with Russia and North Korea, to make diplomatic efforts to prevent illegal military cooperation.President

Yoon met with the chief delegates of five Central Asian countries who visited South Korea to attend the South Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum yesterday (4th) and said, "The international community should join forces to respond to the illegal military cooperation between Russia and North Korea."

He also said that the Korea-Central Asia Summit will be held in Korea next year, and that he is looking forward to the interest and cooperation of Central Asia so that it can be an opportunity to leapfrog relations.

In response, the chief delegates of five Central Asian countries said they would continue to support future-oriented partnerships based on the "Korea-Central Asia K Silk Road Cooperation Initiative" and that all countries' independence and territorial sovereignty should be respected.
