In Busan, a meaningful event is being held to spread the culture of reducing the use of plastic.
It is a place where you can sympathize with the importance of resource circulation through experiential activities.
There is a reporter on the scene. Reporter Lim Hyungjun!

This venue is a place to experience the culture of resource circulation, such as reducing the use of plastic.
The apron I'm wearing now is worn by a volunteer, and I made it using a waste banner.
There were also people doing experience activities everywhere, so let's hear from citizens who made plant stands using sea waste.
[Kwon Jung-yoon / Busan Myeongjang-dong: I made a plant stand with trees from the sea. It felt different, and it was amazing that I could make it using trash like this.]
The event was held to commemorate the hosting of the "5th Intergovernmental Negotiation Committee of the United Nations (UN) Plastic Convention" to be held in BEXCO, Busan, starting next Monday.
When you come here, you can use a waste banner to buy your own handbag, and you can also try making microplastic-free fabric softener.
Visitors can have a unique experience in more than 20 of these exhibition and experience spaces.
The Busan Metropolitan Government expects to create a consensus on the plastic pollution problem and spread the culture of resource circulation practice through civic experience events.
The operation of the event is also aimed at eco-friendliness.
The banners were made from mineral springs, and the promotional paper was made from paper made from sugarcane waste. The opening ceremony, which can be called
'Festival Flower', was also omitted to reduce resource consumption.
The Busan Metropolitan Government expects more than 1,000 domestic and foreign people, including conference participants and citizens, to participate in the event. The event, which will be held under the name
High Busan, Bye Plastic', will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for two days until tomorrow.
