The Seoul Northern District Court sentenced a former YouTuber A, who is accused of posting that he wanted to take drugs, to six months in prison and two years of probation and ordered 120 hours of community service.

The court did not acknowledge A's protest that he only helped the police investigation, saying that A's behavior of luring people by deceiving them as women was an act that could make even those who did not intend to commit a crime feel bad.

Last year, A was put on trial on charges of impersonating a woman in her 20s and posting on a chat application using slang referring to drugs with the aim of luring drug offenders.

Mr. A has become popular with a live video of police arresting a drug offender after reporting him.
