Friendly Union of Plastics Conventions "End Pollution by 2040"

The Friendship Union, an international plastic agreement such as South Korea, reaffirmed its position that plastic pollution should be ended by 2040.

In a ministerial joint statement, 67 friendly countries that want a strong plastic agreement reaffirmed their common goal of ending plastic pollution by 2040, stressing the need for an agreement to cover the entire plastic cycle.

He then called for an agreement, saying he believes global rules containing legally binding joint measures are essential.

He added that he believes legally binding rules are essential to addressing the negative impact of plastic pollution, particularly in developing and least developed countries.

The Alliance of Friendly Nations has continued to insist on limiting plastic from the production stage to address plastic pollution during negotiations over the international plastic agreement over the past two years.
