The opposition parties, including the Democratic Party of Korea, plan to hold a plenary session of the National Assembly today (28th) to deal with the revision of the permanent special prosecution and the grain management law.
The plenary session will also hold a vote on the arrest of Shin Young-dae, a lawmaker of the Democratic Party, who has been requested for an arrest warrant on charges of manipulating public opinion and receiving bribes in the general election.
The National Assembly's Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee will ask Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol and others about the controversy over the destruction of the memorial ceremony at the Sado mine in Japan.
