JMS Jung Myung-seok is charged with sexual assault on a goddess...another crime

Chung Myung-seok, president of the Christian Gospel Mission, who was sentenced to 17 years in prison in the second trial for committing another sex crime after sexually assaulting a believer and being released from prison, will face additional trial in another sex crime case.

The Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office said it has additionally indicted Jeong, who is being tried in custody, on charges of quasi-rape and forced harassment.

This is the third time the prosecution has handed Chung over to trial on charges of sex crimes, and Chung is accused of sexually assaulting eight Goddess Island 28 times between March 2018 and August 2021.

The prosecution emphasized that it will do its best to protect victims and maintain the prosecution so that the defendant's additional crimes are sentenced to a sentence equivalent to guilt.
