Suwon Seobu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province handed over three Chinese people, including A, who illegally captured or abused wild animals with a slingshot, to the prosecution.
Mr. A and others are accused of catching and slaughtering birds and other animals with a slingshot, filming it and posting it on social media.
It is known that more than 10,000 videos were released on mobile phones such as A's shooting slings at animals or directly abusing them.
Earlier, the Animal Rights Action Cara filed a complaint with the police, saying they were suspected of illegally capturing and eating wild animals such as birds, rabbits, and terrapins while wandering around Gyeonggi-do from at least May 2021 to February this year.
