On the day after Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, was attacked by a weapon, a 30-year-old man who posted a message predicting Lee's murder was sentenced to prison in the first trial.

On the 27th of last month, the Seoul Central District Court sentenced A, who was charged with intimidation, to 10 months in prison and suspended the execution for two years.

The court explained that CEO Lee, who was only a few days after the attack, was likely to have felt considerable anxiety due to the crime.

Mr. A was accused of threatening to kill Mr. Lee by posting a notice of his murder at a bar in Bangkok, Thailand, early in the morning, a day after Mr. Lee was attacked in January.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that A posted the article in question 77 times in two hours.
