Daegu Mayor Hong Joon Pyo emphasized that impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol should be prevented.

Mayor Hong said on his social media that impeachment, which stops the constitution like the Park Geun Hye regime, should not happen again.

He also suggested that the opposition should negotiate with them to form a national cabinet and push for a constitutional amendment to the two-term system that shortens the president's term.

He stressed that no traitor should surrender to the enemy as he did during the Park Geun Hye regime, saying that the ruling party should not disperse its power and unite to prevent impeachment.
