KRW/USD exchange rate down KRW 1.7 to close at KRW 1,430.5

The dollar rose in value due to a better-than-expected rise in U.S. wholesale price indicators, but the won-dollar exchange rate fell slightly in night trading as gains were limited.

As of 2 a.m. at our time, the won-dollar exchange rate closed at 1,430.5 won, down 1.7 won from the closing price of the previous Seoul exchange week.

The dollar index was strongly flat in November as analysts prevailed that the U.S. producer price index's growth was not enough to have a significant impact on the Federal Reserve's decision to cut interest rates.

At the end of the night market, the yen/dollar exchange rate was 152.258 yen, the dollar/euro exchange rate was 1.05 dollars, and the yuan/dollar exchange rate was 7.272 yuan.

The intra-day high of the won-dollar exchange rate was 1,434.8 won, the low price was 1,428 won, and the spot exchange volume until night trading was 10.193 billion dollars, including both Seoul foreign exchange brokerage and Korean fund brokerage.
