Prosecutors have found that Yeo In-hyeong, commander of the Defense Security Command, deployed 100 counterintelligence troops to the National Election Commission to try to steal the server.

The special investigation headquarters of the prosecution's emergency martial law secured a statement to the effect that "commander Yeo ordered to copy the NEC server on the day of martial law and rip it off if it doesn't work."

Accordingly, Minister Chung formed four teams of 25 people, including investigators, IT experts, and 868 unit members, and sent a total of 100 people to Gwacheon Central Election Commission.

However, in the process, subordinates were concerned about legal issues, and Chung stopped the operation after 30 to 40 minutes of discussion with legal officers.

The evidence collected without an observation procedure was highly likely to be "illegal collection evidence," and Chung's position is that the troops returned after waiting near the NEC.

Meanwhile, the Armed Forces Intelligence Command was also deployed to the Central Election Commission on the day of martial law, and unlike counterintelligence agents, it was investigated that they performed their duties such as filming the server room.
