The police are seeking a raid on the presidential security services server, aren't they?

[Reporter]
Yes, the Joint Investigation Headquarters, which is joined by the police and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, has been waiting at the civil service office since 10:20 a.m. to search and confiscate the server stored in the presidential office's security office.

In order to secure communication records of Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho's security phone, "Vihwa Phone", a separate warrant is being issued and executed.

It is said that securing a server is important to check the call history because the phone is equipped with eavesdropping and call recording prevention programs.

Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho, who was arrested, said he spoke to President Yoon six times on a non-phonic phone during martial law, and that President Yoon ordered the lawmakers to be arrested.

However, as the confrontation with the security service continues for nearly six hours, it is unclear whether the relevant call details can be secured.

The Joint Investigation Headquarters also raided Cho's official residence for more than four hours today.

Earlier, Commissioner Cho met with President Yoon at the president's safe house three hours before the declaration of martial law and said he was handed a one-page document on martial law and returned to the official residence to tear it apart, drawing attention to whether he would have secured related data.

Police arrested Cho on the 13th after judging that there is a possibility of destroying evidence, such as changing his words after saying that he knew of declaring martial law after seeing the president's statement.

In the meantime, the police's request for attendance to the presidential residence in Yoon Suk Yeol was returned?

[Reporter]
Yes, it was confirmed that the attendance request sent by the Joint Investigation Headquarters by mail to President Yoon Suk Yeol was not delivered in the end.

According to the post office system, the request for attendance to the president's office is "undelivered" and the request for attendance to the president's residence has been returned as "rejected".

However, it is not known who refused to receive the mail, according to the publication.

Earlier, the government issued a notice to President Yoon to attend the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit at the Gwacheon Government Complex at 10 a.m. tomorrow (18th).

The government agency said yesterday that it tried to deliver a request for attendance directly to the presidential office and the residence, but there was no problem as it was sent through a special registration.

However, as the mail delivery failed, the Korea Communications Standards Agency is reportedly currently discussing the second request for attendance.
