A female teacher is arrested and charged with sexual assault by an elementary school student.

A female teacher at an elementary school in Daejeon was arrested and put on trial for sexually assaulting a male student.

The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education said it has been notified that teacher A has been arrested and charged and is taking disciplinary steps accordingly.

He then explained that the teacher was relieved of his position after receiving a notification from the police on the 12th of last month, and that no additional victims were found after investigating the entire school.

It also added that the victim was informed of support measures such as psychological counseling.
