All damage related to the palace and the royal tomb of Joseon, which was caused by heavy snow in the Seoul metropolitan area last month, has been restored.
The National Heritage Administration's Palace Relics Headquarters said 1,025 cases were received last month alone when branches were broken in palaces and royal tombs of Joseon.
This is because the rain-bearing snow could not overcome the weight, and as the restoration work is completed, the four major palaces and Joseon royal tombs are now open to the top.
