A lot of people are going to the memorial altar right now?
[Reporter]
Yes, on the first floor of Muan International Airport, there is a joint memorial altar to commemorate the victims.
Mourners have continued to visit from the morning to this day, and they are lining up outside the building like this.
As you can see, there are also rows of wreaths around the airport door.
Starting with the official memorial service of the bereaved families last evening, mourners continued to visit throughout the day.
The inside of the airport was packed with people without any time to step.
In particular, as mourners flocked at once, Muan-gun requested to move to the Muan Sports Park memorial altar, about 10 kilometers away from the airport, through safety information messages.
The bereaved families of the Ferry Sewol disaster also visited the joint memorial altar to honor the souls of the victims.
For the new year, I visited Muan International Airport after visiting Mokpo New Port, where the Ferry Sewol hull is located.
In addition, groups of bereaved families of social disasters such as Sampoong Department Store, Daegu Subway, and the collapse of Gwangju Hak-dong also visited Muan Airport to express their regret for the repeated disasters.
The identification of all the struggling dead has also begun some funeral procedures for the victims.
Victims who have completed confirmation procedures such as examination and medical examination by investigative agencies are being handed over to the bereaved families.
They were also seen discussing funeral procedures with field staff from early hours.
To date, 20 victims have been moved to funeral homes or are undergoing family extradition procedures.
Local governments such as Gwangju and Jeonnam have secured more than 100 local funeral homes for smooth funeral procedures.
At the scene of the plane disaster, the work of recovering the remaining bodies is ongoing. The families staying at the airport on the fourth day of the
accident are exhausted both physically and mentally, but they are anxiously waiting for the full recovery of the victim.
