Apartment prices in Seoul have been on the rise for the first time in 41 weeks...a steady transition

Apartment prices in Seoul, which have been on the rise for 40 consecutive weeks, have turned flat this week.

According to the 5th week of December apartment prices announced by the Korea Real Estate Agency today, Seoul remained flat with no change in prices from the previous week, ending its rise in 41 weeks.

The Seoul metropolitan area and provinces recorded declines of 0.02% and 0.04%, respectively, with the nation losing 0.03% the same as the previous week.

Apartment lease prices continued to remain flat for three consecutive weeks in both Seoul and the country, while apartment lease prices outside the Seoul metropolitan area fell 0.01%.
