Police have booked military officials in the unit in connection with the case of an Army private who died while undergoing mountain training in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do.

The Gangwon Police Agency said it has booked three people, including Sergeant B and Sergeant C, who were trained with a platoon leader A of an army unit to which Private Kim, who died, on charges of professional negligence.

Police believe they killed Private Kim by not taking appropriate relief measures during training.

Private A, who was a communication soldier belonging to an army unit, fell while moving equipment in Amisan, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do, in November last year, and later died due to a long delay in rescue, according to the bereaved family.The authorities of
