Gyeonggi-do Province will operate 'emergency stage 1' from tomorrow night in preparation for heavy snow.

With heavy snow expected across Gyeonggi Province from the dawn of the day after tomorrow (5th), the provincial government said it will operate the first emergency stage of the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters from 10 p.m. tomorrow (4th) to preemptively respond.

In the first phase of the emergency system, the head of the natural disaster department in Gyeonggi-do will be in charge, and a total of 17 people will work in the fields of roads, transportation and agriculture.

The province informed that pedestrians should pay attention to snow sliding accidents to prevent safety accidents, and drivers should slow down and secure sufficient safety distance when driving the vehicle, as icy roads are expected with a lot of snow.
