A member of the Korea Forest Service who was rescuing a patient from Mt. Seorak crashed in a helicopter.

A rescue worker from the Korea Forest Service, who was rescuing a fall patient from Mt. Seorak, fell in the air and died.

A fall patient was reported at 1:10 p.m. today (3rd) at the shelter in Convergence-dong, Seoraksan, Buk-myeon, Inje-gun, Gangwon-do.

A 32-year-old rescue worker from the Korea Forest Service crashed to the ground when his seat belt was released while climbing a helicopter using a rope after rescuing the patient.

Mr. A was taken to the hospital, but he died.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
