U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken, who is set to retire, has cited "rebuilding alliances" as his most satisfying achievement during his term in office.

Blinken, who will end his term with Biden's departure, told the British Financial Times that Biden's efforts to connect the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.

Referring to the invitation of four Indo-Pacific countries - South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand - to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and NATO summits during the Biden administration, he said it was unimaginable before.

He also cited the North Korean military's dispatch to Russia as an example of how conflicts in other regions affect other countries.

At the same time, he stressed that Chinese companies are still providing critical supplies for rebuilding Russia's defense industry base.

Referring to this, Blinken pointed out that the biggest threat to European security is unfortunately made up of contributions from some countries in the Indo-Pacific on the other side of the world.

China also criticized China for trying to get both sides, saying it would help for peace in Ukraine, but that it was supporting Russia.
