The Yeongdo Police Station in Busan said it is investigating Mr. A in his 60s on charges of murdering an acquaintance with a weapon at a drinking party.

A is accused of wielding a weapon and killing B, a female acquaintance in her 50s who was drinking with her in Yeongdo-gu, Busan, at around 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd.

The police believe that A committed the crime after a quarrel and are investigating the exact motive.
