The U.S. government emphasized the unwavering Korea-U.S. alliance and unwavering trust in the recent domestic situation, saying that the Korea-U.S. relationship goes beyond any one leader or political party.

U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken told a news conference after the South Korea-U.S. foreign ministers' meeting in Seoul that the U.S. government was seriously concerned about President Yoon's recent actions and conveyed the concerns directly to the South Korean government.

At the same time, he said that the U.S.-Korea relationship is much larger than any one leader, government, or political party, and that the U.S. government fully trusts South Korea's resilience to democracy.

He also expressed unwavering support for the Korean people and said that the Korea-U.S. alliance, which has been formed through blood, will continue to strengthen.

Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol also confirmed that there is no gap in the Korea-U.S. relationship and said he will cooperate closely with all policies even if the Trump administration is established in the U.S.
