National Park Service said, "When hiking for the New Year, take care of the Eisen and use it as a regular tour."

2025.01.07 PM 12:00
The National Park Service asked for good safety rules, saying that the trail is slippery and there is a high risk of a loss when hiking for the New Year.

Over the past three years, 25 hikers' safety accidents have occurred in January in national parks, with 92% suffering fractures and wounds due to falling feet.

In particular, in January last year, cardiac events were reported in Deogyusan Mountain and Mudeungsan Mountain.

If you climb the mountain to see the sunrise, the corporation asked you to prepare for snow and icy roads by taking safety equipment such as eisen and sticks, and to use regular trails with low risk of distress.

He also advised that extra clothes and gloves should be prepared and emergency food should be taken to prevent cold diseases such as frostbite.
